Who We Are

Workers United represents 10 000 workers across Canada and 100,000 across the United States, working in communities from Vancouver to Toronto. Though our roots are in the clothing and textile industry, Workers United members make everything from photocopiers to fibreglass and do everything from distribution to social service to serving food and cleaning hotel rooms.

The face of Workers United is diverse. Workers United members speak over 20 different languages, and live both in big cities and small towns across Canada and the United States. Working in apparel and textile manufacturing, plastic and auto parts manufacturing, distribution and retail, hotels and restaurants, and social service organizations, Workers United members are building better futures.
